An AI restaurant chatbot that knows which tables are still free

Most restaurant chatbots answer with words. This one reads your live booking book, so when a guest asks for Saturday at eight it says yes or no, and then takes the booking.

The difference that matters

A generic chatbot is a page of text with a chat box on top: ask it for a table on Saturday and the best it can do is tell you to phone the restaurant. Our assistant sits on the same booking system that holds your reservations, so it answers with the real availability of that evening and sends the guest straight into the booking form. That is the whole point: a question that ends in a booking instead of a phone call nobody answers during service.

What guests actually ask it

Are you open tonight?
Do you have a table for four on Saturday at eight?
Is there anything gluten free on the menu?
Do you have a discount for an early dinner?
Can I bring a dog?
Where do I park?

How it works

It reads your own data

Opening hours, time slots, capacity, off-peak discounts, events and the notes you wrote in your panel. Nothing is invented: what you have not written, it does not say.

It sees live availability

The booking book is part of the same system, so the answer about Saturday is the real answer, not a guess.

It ends in a booking

When the guest is convinced, the assistant hands them to the booking form of that venue, already on the right date.

It speaks your guests language

The reply comes out in the language of the site the guest is reading, across the seven languages mee-table supports.

It never talks about money you did not publish

If a price or a percentage slips into an answer and you never published it, that answer is thrown away and the guest is sent to a person. A wrong number said by us becomes a promise you have to keep.

It says when it does not know

No match in your data means no answer invented: it says so and points the guest to you.

What it does not do
  • It does not take orders or payments in chat: it books tables and sells tickets through the normal booking form.
  • It does not answer questions outside your restaurant: the model is not even called for those.
  • It does not learn from guest conversations, and it never stores who asked what.

What it costs

The assistant is part of mee-table, on the plans that include it: there is no separate chatbot subscription and no per-conversation fee. Each restaurant uses its own free Groq key, so the conversations do not go through anyone else and cost nothing extra.
