1. Your mee-table.com account and Google Sign-In
When you create an account on mee-table.com (via email/password or "Sign in with Google") we collect only: your name, email address, and, if you sign in with Google, the profile photo associated with your Google account. We never receive or request your Google password: authentication happens entirely through Google's OAuth 2.0 protocol.
This data is used solely to create and manage your restaurant-owner account, give you access to the booking management dashboard and, if applicable, process your subscription payment. We never sell, share with third parties, or use this data for advertising.

2. Data of guests who book a table
GLOBAL PRIVACY NOTICE & DISCLOSURE (Compliant with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, DPDP, PDPA, and International Privacy Frameworks) Data Collected: Personal identification information submitted during this session (Name, Email, Phone Number, Booking Preferences, and Optional Notes) is processed strictly to fulfill, manage, and confirm your table reservation request. Lawful Basis & Use: Processing is necessary for the performance of a contractual service at your request. Your data will be stored securely for the minimum duration required to service your booking and related accounting obligations, up to a maximum of 210 days from the reservation date, after which identifying data is irreversibly erased as described in Section 3. Your personal data will never be sold, rented, profiled, or used for automated marketing campaigns without your explicit, separate opt-in consent. Liability Disclaimer & Data Controller Status: The Mee-Table technology platform, including its software infrastructure, developers, and hosting providers, acts strictly as a technical Data Processor. The specific restaurant establishment with which you are executing this reservation is the sole and independent Data Controller. The Data Controller is exclusively responsible for protecting your data privacy rights, including access, rectification, deletion, and withdrawal of consent. For any data rights inquiries, please contact the restaurant management directly.
3. Security and retention
Data is stored on EU cloud infrastructure (Supabase, eu-central-1 region, Frankfurt). Two distinct, non-overlapping retention rules apply: Export-time minimization (30 days): any bulk data export or aggregate statistics report (e.g. marketing lists, dashboard analytics) automatically redacts identifying fields (name, email, phone) for reservations older than 30 days, in that output only, the stored database record itself is never modified by this process. Irreversible database erasure (210 days): 210 days after the reservation date, an automated process permanently and irreversibly erases only the identifying fields (name, email, phone, notes) directly from the stored record, while retaining the reservation date, time, guest count, discount applied, payment status, amount paid, and transaction identifier for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting law. This process does not run on reservations with an unresolved payment dispute or refund still in progress, or still awaiting payment, so as not to compromise the ability to resolve those cases.
